EMDR INTENSIVES

Healing Doesn't Have to Happen One Hour at a Time

If you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted by the impact of past experiences, an EMDR Intensive may offer a more focused path to healing.

Serving Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Danville & Lafayette Area

Traditional weekly therapy can be incredibly helpful, but sometimes healing requires dedicated time and space to work through experiences that continue to affect your daily life, relationships, confidence, and sense of self.

EMDR Intensives provide an opportunity to engage in deeper therapeutic work over an extended period of time, allowing you to make meaningful progress without waiting week after week between sessions.

Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship wounds, grief, medical experiences, or major life transitions, an EMDR Intensive can help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is an extended therapy session that combines the power of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with dedicated time for deeper processing and healing.

Unlike traditional weekly therapy sessions, EMDR Intensives allow us to focus on specific concerns in a concentrated format, creating momentum and reducing the stop-and-start nature that can occur with weekly treatment.

EMDR Intensives are customized to your unique history, goals, and readiness for treatment.

EMDR Intensives May Be Helpful For:

Investment

  • EMDR Intensive Consultation (Required) 50-60 min $250

Format: In-person or virtual for California residents.

The EMDR Intensive Consultation is a required first step to determine whether an EMDR Intensive is the right fit for your needs and goals. During this appointment, we will discuss your history, current concerns, previous therapy experiences, and what you hope to achieve through an intensive. I will assess readiness for EMDR, answer any questions you may have, and provide recommendations for the most appropriate intensive format.

This consultation allows us to create a personalized treatment plan and ensure that an intensive approach is both safe and beneficial for you. If we determine that an EMDR Intensive is a good fit, we will schedule your intensive session and review next steps.

Why Choose an EMDR Intensive?

Many people choose intensives because they:

  • Want to make progress more quickly

  • Have limited availability for ongoing weekly therapy

  • Feel stuck in traditional therapy

  • Are you preparing for a major life transition

  • Want focused support around a specific issue or memory

  • Prefer dedicated time to fully engage in the healing process

An intensive is not about rushing healing. Rather, it provides the space and continuity that can sometimes be difficult to achieve in traditional weekly sessions.
